Shipping Policy

1. Our fulfilment model

CSS deliberately carries no local stock. Hardware and products are ordered per project or per order from our national supplier network. This keeps prices sharp and stock fresh, and it means delivery times depend partly on supplier availability, which we confirm on your quote or order confirmation. Our upcoming online store will follow the same model (drop-shipped from suppliers).

2. Delivery options

• Collection (free): collect from us in Jeffreys Bay by arrangement once goods arrive and are checked.
• Local delivery: within the Kouga region, often combined with installation call-outs (travel per the call-out formula).
• Courier nationwide: door-to-door courier across South Africa, quoted per shipment based on size, weight and destination.

3. Lead times

• Supplier-stocked items: typically 2–7 business days after payment/deposit clears.
• Special orders and imports: quoted per item; we confirm before you commit.
• Fabricated parts (3D printing/CNC): production time is quoted per job and starts after design sign-off.

Lead times start when payment or the required deposit reflects. We flag delays as soon as suppliers notify us.

4. Risk, inspection & damaged parcels

• Inspect parcels on receipt. Note visible damage on the courier's proof of delivery and photograph it before opening fully.
• Report transit damage or shortages within 48 hours so we can lodge courier/supplier claims — late reports may forfeit the claim.
• Ownership of goods passes on full payment; risk passes on delivery or collection.

5. Addresses & failed delivery

Please double-check delivery addresses on your order. Re-delivery costs caused by incorrect addresses or repeated failed delivery attempts are for the customer's account.
